Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a global strategic partnership with Anthropic, the AI company behind Claude, to help enterprises accelerate AI adoption at scale. As a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network, TCS will establish a dedicated business unit focused on delivering AI solutions, industry-specific offerings, and expertise around Anthropic’s Claude models.
The partnership aims to address a key challenge facing enterprises, particularly in highly regulated industries where AI projects often struggle to move beyond pilot programs. By combining Anthropic’s AI capabilities with TCS’ experience in governance, controls, and large-scale implementation, the companies plan to help organizations deploy AI more confidently in production environments.
As part of the collaboration, TCS will provide enterprise-wide access to Claude for 50,000 associates across functions including engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales. The company will use Claude internally to improve operations while applying those learnings to customer engagements.
TCS and Anthropic will also jointly develop and market AI solutions for industries such as financial services, public services, healthcare, life sciences, aviation, telecom, and medtech. The collaboration will focus on areas including workflow automation, modernization initiatives, and customer experience improvements.
The partnership extends to several TCS businesses and platforms. In the UK, Diligenta will use Claude to support customer experience improvements through agentic process transformation. TCS’ BFSI products and platforms teams will also leverage Claude Code to enhance software engineering and IT operations productivity.
Additionally, TCS iON, which conducts over 75 million assessments annually across 1,500 Indian cities, will offer learning and certification programs focused on Claude models to help build AI-ready talent in India.
