For example, the failure of a central server may disrupt the whole system and result in the loss of critical data stored on it. This does not happen with cloud computing and with blockchain integration, it will become even more robust. Blockchain technology will mitigate issues by creating multiple copies of the same information on numerous computer nodes, thus avoiding the failure of the entire system if one server fails. Furthermore, lost data can be quickly recovered because it is distributed among multiple nodes.
Another challenge is the storage of IoT (Internet of Things) data on the cloud. IoT-stored data is often the personal information of the business or individual, such as video footage, voice recordings, and habits. The leak of these records could lead to identity theft and the unlawful sale of personal information for profit. We expect cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain to be integrated soon to form something called the Blockchain Cloud of Things (BCoT). This integration of these technologies removes the problems of decentralization, data privacy and network safety, increasing the overall efficiency of blockchain operations. Moreover, since it is all cloud-based, the technology is scalable and secure. As a result, we expect BCoT applications to be a very popular field of development this year for a large number of industrial applications. Businesses using IoT devices will be eager to deploy this technology, enabling them to scale without the risk of security issues.
